This session will leverage the rich ecosystem of partnerships and expertise in International Geneva to accelerate nutrition integration as a central element of human health and sustainable development. Participants from the diplomatic, health, humanitarian, civil society, finance and academic communities will share lessons learned and practical strategies in implementing the 2025-2030 World Health Assembly Nutrition Targets amidst current global challenges including declining Official Development Assistance (ODA), conflict and climate change.
Aligned with nutrition integration commitments made by Governments and stakeholders at the 2025 Nutrition for Growth Summit, the event will explore opportunities to strengthen cross-sectoral collaboration across health, food systems, social protection, and climate action, as well as greater engagement of the private and financial sector for better nutrition outcomes for everybody.
Last but not least, participants will explore actionable ways for the Geneva community to support the integration of nutrition in negotiations toward a post-2030 development agenda.
