GHF Academy

Presentation

Alongside the call for contributions, the Global Health Forum (GHF) proposes the creation of the GHF Academy, an initiative bringing together universities, schools, and academic institutions committed to global health and participating in the GHF.

The GHF Academy aims to create a informal space for academic exchange, networking, and collaboration among institutions, professors, researchers, and students working in the field of global health.

As part of the GHF, the GHF Academy will organize three dedicated meetings:

1. Meeting of Professors and Academic Leaders
This meeting will bring together professors and academic representatives from participating institutions. It will provide an opportunity to get to know one another, exchange experiences and expertise, and identify potential areas for future academic and institutional collaboration.

2. Student Meeting
This meeting will bring together students from participating universities. It will offer students the opportunity to connect with peers from different countries and academic backgrounds, exchange ideas and experiences, and explore opportunities for future collaboration and joint initiatives.

3. University–WHO Meeting
The third meeting will bring together professors and students from participating universities with representatives of the Risk Analytics and Action Reviews Unit, Health Emergency Preparedness Department, World Health Organization (WHO).

This meeting will provide an opportunity to exchange perspectives between academia and international health institutions, discuss current challenges in global health and health emergency preparedness, and explore potential areas of collaboration.
